These NEW Koni Special-Active Shock Absorbers recognise the road condition and your driving style and adjust themselves to provide the best ride and damper experience. You will find that your car will be more responsive and the ride will be smoother over imperfect road surfaces. Koni performed extensive drive tests on cars equipped with OEM / Koni STRT / Koni Sport / Koni Heavy Track shock absorbers on the front axle and Special-Active shock absorbers on the rear axle and vice versa, and found that the positive effects of the Active technology were very noticeable in all combinations.
Therefore using these shocks on only 1 axle instead of mounting a full car set of 4 pieces is absolutely no problem! However, as with all Koni shocks, they must be fitted in axle sets (both left and right). Special-Active shock absorbers are designed to be used in conjunction with the original (OE) springs and are not recommended for vehicles with aftermarket lowering springs.
